Gas detection laboratory
This laboratory is a professional and technical department under the Metrology and Calibration Business Department of LETRI. The gas detection laboratory belongs to a physical and chemical laboratory. The physical and chemical laboratory is mainly oriented to the field of chemical metrology and biotechnology testing, providing measurement calibration, testing and technical research and development support for enterprises, research institutes, colleges and universities, etc. The fields involved include:

The laboratory is located in the physical and chemical laboratory and gas detection laboratory on the second floor of Building 5, New Technology Industrial Park, No. 98 Hengshan Road, High tech Zone, Suzhou.
The laboratory has three members, mainly including a technical team composed of masters and university undergraduates. Most of the team members are young and middle-aged people. It is a vigorous, well-trained and high-quality team with strong professional quality and working ability.
It has passed the measurement standard examination of combustible gas detection alarm verification device.
Approved and authorized by CNAS, it has passed 8 metrological calibration projects, and its calibration capacity covers almost 85% of the analytical instrument projects such as gas analysis.
Typical calibration/test items
Toxic and harmful gas analyzer (SO2, NH3, H2S, CO, etc.)
Combustible gas alarm: hydrogen, methane, acetylene, propane, isobutane, methanol, etc;
Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide alarm, hydrogen sulfide alarm, zirconia oxygen alarm, oxygen/trace oxygen/electrochemical oxygen alarm, sulfur dioxide alarm, ammonia alarm.
The above alarms can be calibrated/tested in the laboratory or on site depending on the customer's needs and installation location.
