The International Organization for Standardization (ISO), based on the need to promote environmental protection and achieve sustainable development, formally issued the ISO 14001 environmental management system standard in 1996. From the top leader to each employee, they should handle the relationship between their own development and environmental protection with a proactive and conscious spirit, effectively implement pollution prevention, constantly improve environmental performance, and finally achieve the benign development of the organization. It requires the organization to achieve the goal of supporting environmental protection, pollution prevention and continuous improvement by establishing an environmental management system; The compliance of its environmental management system and environmental management level can be proved to the outside world by obtaining the certification from a third-party certification authority. This standard is applicable to any organization, including enterprises, institutions and relevant government units.
