一、 Overview
The concept of this standard and its requirements is based on "if the products and processes without harmful substances can be effectively integrated with the management principles". This specification is attached to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) framework to achieve HSF objectives with complete, systematic and transparent process management and control.
This document is based on EIA/ECCB Standard 954, the standards and requirements for electronic and electrical devices and products without harmful substances. As guidance to manufacturers in fulfilling HSF and user requirements, it may include regulatory requirements, such as:
Directive 2002/95/IEC of the European Parliament and the requirements of the Commission of 27 January 2003 on restrictions on the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS), Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament and the Commission of 27 January 2003 on end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
